This info will give me thorough contact & location info as well as help determine how much time is needed for each portion of the day to ensure we capture all the goodness

General Timeline Guidelines

Getting Ready Girls

Required time: 60 minutes+

KEY TIP: Have Hair & Makeup done for bride & bridesmaids by the time we arrive

Typical Start Time: 2-3 hours before ceremony depending on

-if you have a first look

-how many photographers (one photog will need more time to go back/forth between girls & guys)

-if there is travel between getting ready location and ceremony location

Getting Ready Guys

Required time: 30-60 minutes

KEY TIP: Keep all the guys together

Pre-Ceremony Portaits Girls

Required time: 30-60 minutes

Bride with her bridesmaids in a few group shots. We will capture solo portraits of the bride as well as each girl with the bride

Pre-Ceremony Portraits Guys

Required time: 20-45 minutes

Groom with his groomsmen in a few group shots. We will capture solo portraits of the groom as well as each groomsman with the groom

All weddings are different & these times may or may not apply to you. This is here to hopefully assist you in your planning and to get a feel for how long things may take. All time frames can be modified for your day!

Details of Ceremony: Typically done between the pre-ceremony portraits & before the guests arrival (40 minutes before ceremony) Ceremony: Typically 20-60 minutes

-Family Formals: Typically 20-30 minutes

-Bridal Party Formals (after ceremony): Typically 15-20 minutes

-Romantic Portraits with the Couple: Typically anywhere from 20-60 minutes

Reception: Typically 2.5-3.5 hours depending on formalities

-Toasts: Typically 10-30 minutes+

-Formal dances: typically 15 minutes (parents & couple)

-Dinner: typically 30-60 minutes

-Dancing: We only need to document 20-30 minutes to make it look like you partied all night!

-Cake: Typically 10 minutes

-Bouquet/Garter: Typically 10-15 minutes
