Lido House Wedding in Newport Beach // I met Cassie and Joe in the most spectacular and unique way. Having the honor to photograph their wedding day in Newport Beach after meeting in Costa Rica (not to mention they live in Kentucky!!) was absolutely unreal. Life sometimes hands you the perfect set of circumstances. We all met while we were collectively celebrating our honeymoons during the craziness of 2020. For myself and my husband we decided to elope after our venue RETIRED. Yup. You read that right. For Cassie & Joe - they were celebrating a whole year AHEAD of their actual wedding date. They had to reschedule their wedding and honeymoon several times. Long story short they had all their other wedding vendors booked by the time they met me and, they still needed a wedding photographer in Southern California. Meeting these two instantly felt like a giant warm hug. We doubled up for breakfasts and dinners at the luxurious Casa Chameleon and shared our favorite honeymoon activities and experiences with one another.
They got married nearby where they met at Cassie's & Joe's favorite place - the Lido House. This place has some seriously cool beach house vibes with the coastline only a .02 mile shuttle away with easy access to the Balboa Peninsula or the Lido Marina Village. The setting was perfect for them to really showcase their sweet love. Check out where the groomsmen got ready. VIBEY. I also really love the sparkle, sleeves and silhouette of Cassie's boho wedding dress combined with sparkly celestial style earrings. The combo made for some dreamy beach photos in that sunset light. It was the perfect dress for movement, comfort and class. Girl- you rocked it!! What a sight!!
