Rustic Forgotten Barrel Winery Wedding | Spenser & Nick | San Diego Wedding Photographer

Rustic Forgotten Barrel Winery Wedding Photography in San Diego, CA// Looking for the perfect venue to celebrate your special day? Allow me to introduce you to The Forgotten Barrel, located in Escondido, CA. Not only is the name cute but this venue is literal rustic perfection for all you boho vintage brides and wine connoisseurs. With wood accents, the gorgeous vineyards, lush green grapes, barrels, ivy walls & vines, this place is- Historic. Rustic. Timeless.

I would also describe Nick & Spenser's love as timeless with a side of spunky. This wedding was full of joy with high spirits from both the couple and their fabulous party attendees. There were many highlights and the one that immediately comes to mind is their flash mob that the bridal party and family members performed for their guests at the reception (scroll to the end to see!) This was a wedding first for me and a trend I would love to see again. I included the video I took with my phone while I captured the moments with my camera. It was everything and more + such an incredible moment that I'm so thrilled I got to witness!!

We started the day with a first look which was so fun because Nick's brother surprised Nick by dressing up in a wedding gown, lipstick and all. Nick had no idea, it was both hilarious and a fantastic way to start the festivities! Spenser came out next, styled to perfection with a bold veil that I couldn't wait to see flow in the breeze. Nick seriously light up once he saw his beautiful bride, it was the sweetest.

The bridesmaids all wore jewel toned dresses and each one was unique. I would totally wear any one of those dresses, so dang fun! The guys also had fun with a variety of colored bow ties. This group was all energy and love. Did I mention they also had the coolest flower queen?! I mean, it was SO GOOD! This whole day was full of touching moments, beautiful scenery & lots of laughter. I also love a bride with tattoos and Spenser had a very memorable tattoo of the moon with the words "everything in possible" in her mothers hand writing. To say I am obsessed would be an understatement!

To end the evening, they could not decide between bubbles and flowers. When they asked me what was more preferable I told them: BOTH!! Why decide right? Out came the bubble guns and the magical sparklers. The bubble guns were then brought onto the dance floor. It was the best way to conclude such an amazing celebration of love for this gorgeous couple. I wish them nothing but love and happiness forever & ever!!

Enjoy the fun behind the scenes moments at the end of the gallery sprinkled in with a animated GIF to help me tell the story of their day <3
