Rustic Sacred Mountain Wedding in Julian, CA // Epic. Romantic. Expressive. Delightful. This is what comes to mind when I think about this gorgeous couple and their amaze-balls day! All day long they were both grinning ear to ear. I don't think I've seen a more expressive groom, which was so fun! The girls had a code word while they were getting ready, they would collectively yell out "BANANAS" to laugh off the nerves and get into the spirit. It was absolutely adorable and their smiles really lit up the room. This was all before they were whisked away by a golf cart to the secret garden for Matt and Andrea's first look.
The fashion from the entire bridal party was ON POINT! The girls wore these beautiful silk rust dresses that complimented the greenery around the property. Andrea wore a gorgeous lace sleeveless sweetheart bridal gown that looked stunning on her and went hand in hand with all the rustic details. When it got chilly she had a denim jacket with pearl details on the back. Vibes ok! Matt wore a classic suit in forest green that he combined with a tweed tie. He had custom embroidery details on his sleeve with his initials and custom sailor cuff links. Inside the lining of his jacket it said "Mr. Garcia". The boys each had fun team socks on. It's so fun to see how this bridal squad brought their personalities into their wardrobe which tied perfectly into the venue.
They opted to get married on a mountain top at Sacred Mountain in Julian in front of their closest friends and family. They both wrote their own vows where Andrea gushed about her admiration for Matt's love of chocolate chip cookies after 10pm. A couple after my own heart! My husband is also a cookie monster after 10pm so I can relate haha!
Guys! This venue is one of my FAVS and is the perfect setting for a boho/rustic theme. From the tree swing to the open fields, to the horses next door and peacock chair in the bridal suite....I mean, it's literal perfection. The boys got ready in a barn and the ladies had a completely separate space of their own. I don't think I could ever forget that epic sunset, the sky was literally on fire and all the colors came out to dance that evening. There was one moment when the rest of the bridal party and family all went to the cocktail hour and it was just myself, the couple and my second shooter, Linda. We all took a moment to just stand in awe of that amazing sunset. This place really allows mother nature to shine. To say it was stunning wouldn't do it justice.
Every. Single. Detail. was so well thought out! Peek that circle ceremony arch and the table details if you need some wedding inspo! The bridal bouquet, centerpieces and flowers on the ceremony arbor were provided by Moss and Bloom. I loved this day and I'm happy to share it here. I was even more ecstatic to document these beautiful moments and incorporating my moody style for the photography portion.
Andrea & Matt- Cheers to a lifetime of happiness and finding one another!! You guys are completely perfect for each other <3333333
