Epic Destination Elopement Photography in Yosemite, CA// California has so many beautiful options when it comes to planning your elopement or wedding day adventure. Yosemite National Park is easily one of my favorite destinations when it comes to photographing your special day. From the majestic valley to the granite cliff sides, the sprawling forests and along the magical waterfalls - This national park is easily one of the best scenic California locations for such a special day. Marina and Adrian started the day at sunrise and chased the sun through the afternoon. One of my favorite locations within the park, and on this day especially, is the Bridal Veil waterfall. There's something mystic about the falls, it literally takes your breath away when you get up close to it. We then went over to Yosemite Valley as well as tunnel view. I absolutely fell in love with these two and their boho vibes. I mean, who doesn't love a double hair toss? Marina's dress sparkled in the light with a side slit that went on for days to show off her knee high boots and Adrian's style was both classic & dapper with a side of man bun. Boots are an excellent idea if you love fashion but still want to keep the day functional. Boots also double as an extra layer to keep you warm. It might look warm in these images except it actually snowed at the end of the day. This down to earth couple shared their love stories of how they met and their mutual affection for their dog, named Eva (named from the Pixar movie Wally). The way Adrian looked at Marina and was so caring about making sure she was warm. He would wipe away the hair strands from her face due to the wind and it was so damn beautiful. All of the planning, scouting and excitement came together in such a romantic and beautiful way. True soulmates. I still think these two belong on the cover of a romance novel, a steamy one because these two are absolute fire and you could feel their heat from miles away! I made some moody animated gifs, used a few prisms for some added dimension and got a little funky with the focus shifts to showcase the environment. The day was filled with fun, sweet, intimate moments full of adventure. Happily ever after babes!!
